My shows are all ending. Help me find new ones.

Go On
New Girl
Big Bang (for your inner geek if there is one)
Parks & Rec - I didn't give this a chance early on but am finding I enjoy it
Happy Endings
Sad to admit...2 Broke Girls

Dramas:
Scandal
The Good Wife
Castle (recently started)
Chicago Fire
Nashville
Elementary (about to check this out)
Body of Proof (about to come back)

Cable:
Royal Pains
Drop Dead Diva
The Big C (is it coming back?)
Nurse Jackie (is it coming back?)
Shameless (on the list to check out)
Girls
Californication
Dexter
Homeland (I think I'm the last person on earth to jump on this train)

I just set up the DVR to record whatever is on whenever and instead of watching live tv, I always have something ready to watch when I need it.

yes, The Big C is returning. Though they're going to shorten the season by making the episodes an hour vs 30 minutes. 4th and final season starting up Monday, April 29th according to wiki.

fyi to a PP - the Directv DVR has a ton of space, especially if you're not taping in HD. I've got dozens of movies, 26 episodes of Walking Dead, about 35 episodes of kids' shows and I'm only at 84% capacity.

I NEVER tape in HD - takes up WAAAY too much space. I have a FIOS DVR and it has a gigantic storage capacity for SD recording. I probably have 25 movies and dozens of hours of shows recorded, and am only just above 50%, and that is because my husband insists on taping HIS stuff in HD. It seriously takes 4X the space.

I guess I'm addicted to HD. It just looks so much better to me. That said, my FIOS DVR with about 13 hours on it is 70% full. So frustrating.

By the way, the new season of the Big C is subtitled "hereafter." Not a good sign perhaps. I love Laura Linney.

Anyone know when Nurse Jackie is returning? I usually only sign up for Showtime during the summer when the shows I usually watch aren't on.

Comedy:
Raising Hope
The Middle
Modern Family
The Mindy Project
Suburgatory
The Daily Show
The Corbet Report

Drama
Shameless (very crude, so be warned)
Mad Men (although I don't know when the season starts again)

Home Shows:
Love it or List It
Property Brothers
and the other show the two brothers now have, I do not recall the name

Cartoons:
Phineas and Ferb
Gravity Falls

Man, when I see it laid out like that, our family watches a lot of TV!

You think that's a lot? Then you don't want to see MY DVR! It's over 20 hours per week of recording. It's sad when, in order to catch replays of shows that get bumped by the 2 per timeslot rule, there is actually a 1 am timeslot that is full.

me too

I blame USA, FX and ABCFamily for moving to year round programming and totally messing with my viewing schedule. SUMMER NETWORKS, DAMMIT!

Another vote for Elementary. Wanted to dislike it but ended up loving it and I am neither a Sherlock Holmes or Lucy Liu fan. If you like fantasy and adventure, Game of Thrones is wonderful. Southland is a great cop show.

I also watch Downton, and a bunch of bad BBC reality TV...

I'm sort of a slave to HD as well. Does anyone upgrade their FIOS box for more storage? Or do you get what you get? (I have the same question about my FIOS router that is 5+ years old but I should start a new thread for that).
