Go On New Girl Big Bang (for your inner geek if there is one) Parks & Rec - I didn't give this a chance early on but am finding I enjoy it Happy Endings Sad to admit...2 Broke Girls Dramas: Scandal The Good Wife Castle (recently started) Chicago Fire Nashville Elementary (about to check this out) Body of Proof (about to come back) Cable: Royal Pains Drop Dead Diva The Big C (is it coming back?) Nurse Jackie (is it coming back?) Shameless (on the list to check out) Girls Californication Dexter Homeland (I think I'm the last person on earth to jump on this train) I just set up the DVR to record whatever is on whenever and instead of watching live tv, I always have something ready to watch when I need it. |

I've recently started watching The Following, Ripper Street and Walking Dead. (With WD, you'd want to find the last two seasons and catch up first.)
On a lighter note, I love Modern Family, Cougar Town, Happy Endings and New Girl. I'm also enjoying the Mindy Project. |

Yeah, you'd probably like Revenge. As for shows that might be good replacements for Emily Owens, what about a couple of the ABC Family shows? I like Switched at Birth, Pretty Little Liars and The Lying Game.
My favorite comedy is probably Raising Hope. I also like Suburgatory. A good guilty pleasure show is Vampire Diaries, but you need to watch from the beginning. |

Comedy: Raising Hope The Middle Modern Family The Mindy Project Suburgatory The Daily Show The Corbet Report Drama Shameless (very crude, so be warned) Mad Men (although I don't know when the season starts again) Home Shows: Love it or List It Property Brothers and the other show the two brothers now have, I do not recall the name Cartoons: Phineas and Ferb Gravity Falls Man, when I see it laid out like that, our family watches a lot of TV! |

I liked the same shows as you, OP. I'm now watching some new shows with my teen:
The Carrie Diaries, prequel to Sex and the City and set in the early '80s Bunheads, but not loving it nearly as much as Gilmore Girls Also started watching The Americans on FX about two Russian spies, played by Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys Scandal is also good, by the creator of Grey's Anatomy |

You think that's a lot? Then you don't want to see MY DVR! It's over 20 hours per week of recording. It's sad when, in order to catch replays of shows that get bumped by the 2 per timeslot rule, there is actually a 1 am timeslot that is full. |
