What if you love a house but HATE the name of the street?

My Grandma lives near Pleasure House Rd in Virgina Beach. Apparently the name stuck even after the brothel had been gone for years...

Have you heard of Fair Lady Lane in Germantown, MD?
I thought it was a red district at first.

Definitely OP. didn't even consider a house I would've very much have wanted to consider because it was on Bonar way and my mom kept saying, "what about the house on boner?"

Relax, OP. If everything else is right, then the street name does not matter.

I fell in love with my house and did not like the street name. Bought it anyway and am very happy.

Leisure World. Would never live there. Too undignified and trashy sounding.

Allnut Lane in Burtonsville. Are they all nuts on the street?

Spruell in Kensington, sounds like a mix of gruel and spit

Morningwood Drive in Olney. Yeah, we've definitely had people crack up when we say our street name. Oh we'll, we love our house.

I understand hating a street name, but I certainly would not let that affect my purchase decision.

We moved to Illinois for work. We found a lovely house that was located on George W. Bush Drive. We did not buy it. I got pissed off every time I saw the street name. I just couldn't do it.
