It wasn't even established if the kid was genuinely needy or hungry. I've been on outings with groups of kids, where I've seen for example a kid who I know isn't poor, needy or starving go up to one of the parents and ask them for some money just because they want a snack. Ask your OWN parent, not whatever random parent happens to be there.
