And this show of superiority did what, exactly, for you? |
Yeaaaaah, okay. If you think a guy who likely makes minimum wage to support a family has more disposable income than you, you're nuts. |
Sorry, misread your post and see now that you did tip him. I still don't think calling Peapod would have served any useful purpose. |
Time saving translation: I'm cheap, I don't want to tip but I know that's not really right so I need to come with an excuse like poor service to justify my actions to the online anonymous community. |
| 5-10% For my Peapod guy!! Heavy groceries, along with multiple trips back and forth. I love my Peapod guy! |
|
Just flash him your tits or let him cop a feel.
Best tip ever. ... what? that only happens in porn? ... i'm sure someone must do it.... |
My god, pull your head out of your ass. I can't believe a grown-ass woman would say something so stupid. |
They want cash because they want to break the law by not declaring the income on their taxes. |
Yup. Most of the time I fill in the tip amount on the form, tipping almost double than I would if I'd tipped in cash to make up for the taxes. And yet I've still had one particular driver tell me (more than once) to "tip in cash next time." I looked that fellow straight in the eye and told him that I rarely keep cash on hand and this would be the only type of tip he'd be receiving from me. |
Your a very rude person it's a service they prepare your order lift all your stuff which is a lot of labor they make very little pay they are very nice hardworking family oriented people if you don't tip your rude yea out in five minutes but back broken..... yea order unattended but still doing most of the work bitch |
| I tip 5 to 10% the guy pulls your order brings to your door or kitchen. It is a service you should tip very labor intensed. I was reading some other posts and just want to say people are so rude how could you stiff the guy or give him five dollars he is bringing multiple boxes of your food to your door. Her has to watch everything he is doing so nothing gets damaged. What do you tip your pizza guy hate to know... come on people think think think those drivers are sideway always kind and polite, they live of tips they don't make much.... at least 8 to 20 dollars is good |

This guy's funny, but I think most of us thought he was a jerk.

Perhaps someone should ask Giant what they actually pay their delivery personnel!
I can't imagine that a $20 tip is at all appropriate. That's crazy! |
| When we first started using Peapod, I went to tip on the form and he said he would prefer it in cash, I just stared at him. Obviously this was an end run around taxes - or Peapod divvies up the tips (doubtful) and gives it to them (minus taxes) at the end of the month. That's why he wanted unreported cash. But I didn't like being told HOW to tip and called the company. They said Peapod delivery men should not be asking for tips at all. It's already taken care of in the price of the food and the service charge. |
Obnoxious. |
