So conservative posters, please explain.

Can you read a chart? Based on your chart, most of our deficit created on Obama's watch has been from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, the recession, TARP, and failed "recovery measures" (e.g., stimulus) up until the last few months - only a sliver from the Bush Tax Cuts. And he escalated the war in Afghanistan. And JUST ended Iraq.

Here's what you don't get, probably because you are not a tax lawyer or economist - tax revenues generally go up every year even without any tax rate increases as the economy grows and due to inflation, and it doesn't appear that your chart takes any of this into account, so the projections may be off. Hopefully, your annointed one can continue to save our economy and create jobs with his green energy and failed stimulus, and if he does, then tax revenues would correspondingly increase, so actually, since he already did those things and ended the recession back in 2009, maybe your chart is off already. . . Secondly, this chart mostly is a projection waaaaaay into the future, and who knows if in the future it won't become necessary to raise taxes, or who will raise them (Congress passes tax laws btw, not the president). I do not profess to be a soothsayer as does the author of this graph. We only know for absolute certain what has happened, and what is - most of our deficit up to date is NOT the result of the Bush tax cuts - that is a fact, even according to your own chart/graph.

Does anyone know where exactly he worked since he graduated from school? He must have a 20-year gap between graduation and his 2 years or whatever in the Senate. What did he do with all of that time? Did he ever work a full-time, 9-5+ job? Ever? (and does he have ANY relatives on his mother's side other than the one grandmother and that uncle who despises him?). Lots of questions. . .

It really cracks me up that Ryan has acquired for himself this reputation as an intellectual heavyweight. Oh and don't forget, Romney doesn't need no stinking Medicare. He recently opted to stay with his private gold-plated health insurance plan for bazillionaires. Huh? Economics and Political science aren't fluff degrees. And Miami University is a selective institution. At the time it had just been named in Richard Moll's book as one of the eight "Public Ivies." The other Public Ivies were:

Right after college he worked for a couple of nonprofits in NYC , then worked as a community organizer in Chicago. He then went to Harvard Law School. He worked as an associate at two firms in the summer and was then named editor of the Harvard Law Review. He was a professor of constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School for 12 years. He was then a state senator in Illinois for two terms. He was elected to the US Senate in 2004. He was elected POTUS in 2008, and will likely be reelected in 2012. Any further questions? It is actually pretty easy to find out basic information about the President of the United States.
