You may disagree but the economy doesn't

Gee, since you have a graph that you copied from a right wing website I guess you have to be correct. Thank you for enlightening me. I will now dedicate my life to electing Romney.

only an idiot would "dedicate their lives" to any politician. You are an Obama voter and will dedicate your life to Obama.

I think the poster was being sarcastic!

Because I don't want a Supreme Court appointee telling me what to do with my uterus, always the Dem, whoever he or she may be.

... and also, my conservative friends have PROMISED me that if Obama gets a second term, we ladies all get a mandatory, govt issued burqua. I think this could come in really handy on bad hair/fat days, so how soon may I expect this? Thanks.

Older voter here. I remember the 1980 election. Reagan hammered Carter on the deficit and I remember being surprised that we had this big deficit and was disappointed that Carter hadn't addressed it. It didn't affect my vote because I was so disenchanted with Carter that I voted for a third party candidate but I never would have voted for Reagan anyway. Still, Reagan educated me about this and I remember thinking it was an important issue.

Then Reagan quadrupled the deficit. Huh?

That's why I find Ryan particularly unnerving. His radical approach to tax policy would increase the deficit enormously and he apparently doesn't see the budget being balanced until the 2030s. I'm not going to bet my house on this plan succeeding.

Again, I say, huh? Why are the Republicans the ones who keep adding to the deficit when they tell us they're fixing it? I think they're a pretty scary bunch, especially Ryan.

If you think Ryan's budget is going to explode the deficit. Here is the opposite of Ryan's budget, Look at what Obama did right in front of your nose...

Admittedly, I don't know much about the deficit and how it works. But it seems to me that we probably have a deficit right now because 1) of these stupid endless was and 2) the recession and attempts to counteract it. So it's rather an unusual circumstance that this administration is facing, isn't it? Not sure I'd want to abolish medicare and foodstamps during the Great Recession. How about we end bush's wars (completely, totally) instead?

All I know if Michelle Bachmann thinks Romney Ryan are a great ticket that's enough for me to vote for Obama

The deficit is the direct result of (1) the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (2) the Bush Tax cuts and (3) the recession.

The biggest problem is the Bush tax cuts.

Obama.

The current Romney ad on TV is about Obama turning back the Clinton welfare reform. As if cutting welfare will balance the budget and create jobs. Typical coward, taking it out on the poor.
