| Wow okay. I am five foot two and weight a little over 180 Lbs. And I eat all organic foods.whole foods.dairy without hormones added, soy, veggie burgers, tons of fruits, etc. All my blood and sugar levels are normal.I take meds for lung issues that mess my weight up. I was born with it,never smoked. I always feel the need to taste something and have to struggle min. By min. Hr by hr not to eat 24 hours a day,and that alone stresses me too much which raises cortisol. I have impossible times exercizing because I cant breath.walking four blocks to me FEELS like it ought to be burning 500 calories due to how hard I have to breath.was like that sinse childhood and even when thin. I need a quick miracle, not ppl thinking Im lazy or a glutton. Im fatter than and eat better than everyone I know.NO fast foods.yuck |
| Every person I know who says "they eat whatever they want" does not eat much. If you are around this person 24 7 they may seem to eat a lot of junk food like doritos, twinkies, etc. but that is their whole meal....a donut for breakfast, bag of chips for lunch, and an ice cream for dinner...those types of people just don't eat much. my roommate claims to be skinny genetically but she starves herself daily. if she has a piece of cake she will skip dinner and say she is too tired to eat. its so funny how people secretly starve themselves in order to say they can eat whatever they want. |
I agree, if she is trim I am underweight at 5"2/108! |

I can't believe the obsession some people have with weight on the DCUM. |
Please, please post a sample daily menu. I could have written your post - except the part about getting smaller than a size 12. TIA |
And you probably look like a little boy. |
ITA My sister is the same, she brags how she eats whatever she wants yet when I order pizza, she eats one slice. Never eats junk food, she eats so little. Maybe she eats what she wants but she doesn't seem to eat much. |
Yes please!!! |

I know several women who could eat a lot of fattening food and still maintain their figures without dieting and exercise.
That all ended when menopause hit. Now, they look like they are 8 months pregnant. Permanently. |

Actually, it's very possibly with proper muscle tone. I have a friend who is an Olympian in the heptathlon. She is 5'7" and 155lbs. Good luck finding fat on her. |
I agree. I am one who has always had to work out to stay trim...and work out hard. I have worked out 5-6 days per week (I bring running shoes on vacation since I stopped playing competitive sports when I was 18. I can gain weight fairly easily so I am always exercising.
My sister and several friends have those super-metabolisms. They drop weight easily. They are also all very tall. They never work out. Bitches!! Now that we are in mid-late 40s--they don't look so good out of clothes. No muscle tone, mid-section weight gain, etc. My body is still the same. I too am finding I have to watch what I eat more often now that I am 43---but since I have been doing this my whole life it isn't as tough for me. I also am very muscular. I am now thankful I didn't have it so easy. My DR did tell me that I am fortunate that I did work out my entire life because that exercise has probably staved off so many potential diseases and cardiac issues, etc. |
That's a great advice! thank you for posting |

I'm one of these women who can be considered naturally slim. I'm 5'7, size 2, 34yo , have 2 kids.
I don't know how much I weigh because I don't own a scale, never did. I have an old jeans from HS I use to make sure I'm in my normal weight. I only do Pilates and Yoga. I eat what I want but I really don't eat that much. My whole family is thin but they also are not a a big eaters. These are my way to stay slim: 1. I really don't like a lot of fattening stuff: I don't like sweets, cakes or bread. I prefer vegetables and meat. I don't like soda. 2. I'm not that hungry most of the time and can be sated with a little piece of something. I will eat pizza if I want to but can't really deal with more than one slice. 3. My dad is a great cook and I grew up eating great homemade meals and never ate processed food. As of today, I find most processed food uneatable. 4. I don't eat breakfast. 5. I tend to forget to eat and can't eat when stressed. I really can't tell though whether I'm thin because I eat that way or I eat that way because I'm thin and don't really need lots of food. |
