Op,
I'm sorry for the immature reply. Seems like you are in a pickle. Regardless if you decide to stay friends with her or not, I think it's best to confront her. Seems like she has an issue and it very aware of it but wants to ignore it. Since you said she did text you after the fact, I think she's hoping you'll brush it under the rug. What she did was gross and rude. But, you should bring it up to her and explain why you want to cut the ties, don't let her play dumb. As far as having the same friends circle, take the high road. Don't blabbermouth to everyone about what happened. If someone asks her why you guys no longer talk, I'm sure she'll have to get creative. |
| Wow, at the end of the day she disrespected herself. |
| OMG! You need new friends. Who has problems like this? |
| OP take this as a lesson. Your new rule for friends is they must be potty trained and keep their need for sex to anonymous strangers. These rules, of course, can be a jumping off point. But your bar is set WAY too low! |
Sh-yeah. |
| It sounds like your friend surprised you by her strange bahavior, even more reason to talk to her. You've got nothing to lose besides a friend who doesn't know where to drop her kids off at the pool and wants to see you and your bf naked. Go for it, humorous us all and talk to her! |
Signed, A Person Who Has Apparently Shat On Her *Friends* Floor and Toilet Seat. |
| Ok, this goes waaaaaay beyond: "surprising things that friends have done"....but that's just me. |
| I keep returning to this thread and feeling a little bit sick and then clicking away and then reading all the posts again and feeling sick and so on. Is it possible that I am doing this because of a vitamin deficiency? |
lmao. |
Yeah, no shit. |

Honestly, I'm surprised at the number of people who think you should just dump your friend. Yes, she shat on your floor but it sounds like she was beyond drunk. Yes, she mentioned a threesome, but who can even know if she was serious since again, she was beyond drunk.
Why not just talk to her, explain why you're upset, explain why you're worried about her and see what she says? Why immediately dump her as a friend? Not saying you shouldn't ever end the friendship, but why not at least give it a chance? OP - you may end up doing something you regret someday (hopefully, not quite that embarrassing) and hope your friends give you a chance. |
HAHA! Love this, and totally agree. What ARE your standards, OP? 25 is too old to get shit-all-over drunk. |
|
You've never been so drunk you don't remember what happened to you?
Do you have kids? You say you're a nanny...have your kids never shit all over themselves or something else? Have you had to clean that up? I have...Yes...it's gross, but come ON. One time I was in the caribbean and so drunk I didn't know that I shit in my pants. My friends had to clean me up. I did not / do not remember much from that night, nor do I remember the shitting accident or cleanup. Shit happens...get over it. Pun intended. Maybe she's embarrassed and wants to apologize. You'll never know if you cut her from your friends. |
