OMG - Why does my mother have to yawn do loudly?

Totally agree PP. My mom's sneezes used to annoy me, now that she is passed away I would be so happy to hear them.

Can someone tell how to stop my FIL from chewing his fingernail stubs and spitting them out while he is sitting on the couch in our home?

They are very testy if you confront them, but this is just disgusting.

I read somewhere that people as they age their hearing reduces & also some harlmless fungus colonization. So in order to satisfactorily hear their yawning they do it top of their energy.

A girl at my work does this all the time. I know it's her coming down the hall because I hear her yawns. It's really rude. I assume she isn't aware of this.
