I kind of like "home maker" in lieu of SAHM. Anyone else?

LOL, what I stayed at home and people asked where I worked, I normally just responded, "I don't work, I'm home with my baby all day."

Why doesn't your DH cook? Or why don't you cook the night before? I work 45 -50 hours a week and my house is not a wreck.

I said before, I'm a single mom. I don't cook the night before because I'm too tired. I have started probably 15 threads on what to cook for dinner/a weekly grocery list/etc. At some point I'll get good at it.

I like "Home Manager".

What sucks is that many WOHM's are also doing all of the housework / home managing. I'm a WAHM who posted previously but I know it's true in my case, even though my husband works even less than me.

our house is a wreck because my spouse and I both work pretty demanding jobs. we have a housekeeper every other two weeks, and a very helpful M-I-L, but still, the house is a mess and the laundry does not get done. two big dogs do not help.
