ICE going door to door soon

You partly right and partly wrong. Typically republicans don't want the government breathing down their throat - and that would include feds showing up at the door.

That said, republicans don't favor people entering the country illegally, or letting the stay. So i think many republicans would be ok with ICE aggressively investigating and detaining people here illegally. (and showing up at their doors)

none of this would be happening if Democrats have enforced security laws.

Bull F-in Shit. You can enforce immigration laws without acting like the Gestapo. You can enforce immigration laws without trampling all over human rights and shooting random, unarmed, American citizens.

You suck, MAGA. We don't want your cruelty and thug tactics here.

Crime rates among illegal immigrants are similar to crime rates among US citizens, regardless of Fox News anecdotes.

If we want to tighten the border, fine. However, going door to door to weed out every single darn person is a dumb policy that will create unease and violence rather than solve it. Especially with very poorly trained and vetted ICE agents.

Most jurisdictions don't log immigration status so it is hard to know if they commit fewer, the same or more crimes. What I fail to understand is why is there a ban in so many jurisdictions of prison officials not being able to notify and hand off undocumented convicted criminals to ICE?

A big part of the reason that ICE goes to a door is because the undocumented convicted criminal has been released. So ICE will use the last address they have on file and go to that address. But when they get there it isn't the criminal who is at that address it is extended family members who end up getting taken in or a random person who is undocumented who is now renting the room or apartment.

Cities and states that have laws that forbid their criminal justice system from notifying ICE puts law abiding undocumented migrants in danger. Not just from getting their doors kicked in but also because the criminal stays in their community. Many of the victims of crime committed by undocumented migrants are in fact other undocumented migrants.

In June the ICE shooter was dragged by a 40 year old man who had been arrested and convicted of a felony in 2023 of repeatedly sexually abusing a 16-year-old in Hennepin County. (Since I no longer trust anything the Justice Department publishes I looked up the case and it is true. State of Minnesota v. Roberto Carlos Muñoz-Guatemala, 27-CR-22-25757).

Allegedly there was a detainer on Munoz that was ignored and he was released. So then trying to capture him the ICE shooter breaks a car window and is dragged. The undocumented guy was found guilty of the charges in Dec. 2025. So now the ICE shooter is twitchy around cars and kills a woman. I have to wonder if ICE could have arrested the man convicted of sexual abuse at the jail and detained him there, then perhaps the ICE shooter never would have been so quick to fire. Not an excuse for what he did but this policy of not honoring detainers from jails and prisons needs to be reconsidered.

I have been on r/minnesota tonight. There is video upon video upon video of terrifying situations:

Protestor confronted by CBP who confronts her saying haven't you learned anything in the last two days? "Learned what?" she asks. "What's the lesson here?" Then something happens so the video breaks up, like he's hitting her or grabbing er or trying to grab her phone.

Woman in St. Paul on the phone with 911. Door dash female driver ran inside her house (resident had ordered door dash), ICE is outside, they don't have a warrant but say they're getting one, she has a baby in her house, she says she doesn't want to let them in without a warrant and mentions the woman shot this week, says repeatedly "I don't know what to do!" (911 is sending officers to her home)

Uber driver in a parking lot, female CBP agent outside his car comes to his car asking if he is a US citizen. He asks why they're asking someone working if he's a US citizen. She says answer the question. She says they're running his plates. He asks if she's a citizen. She says he has an accent. Clearly he is not free to leave.

Native American driver and her passenger (family member). She's telling them they are tribal members and have their tribal IDs. Agents drag her passenger out of the car as she is telling him to let them scan his face, then she is apparently hit by agent.

Consider people who are going about their lives (Woman at home with her baby, Uber driver) and find themselves confronted by this reality and having to worry that the slightest misstep could get them killed.

They are escalating, with a particular focus on Dem cities and states and particularly Portland and the twin cities.

Repeat. They are ESCALATING.

ANY sane administration would take a pause at this point rather than continuing to throw gas on the fire.

Clearly they are all Tren de Aragua

Let's admit it

TRUMPERS, GOP any one supporting these actions are not fit for America

They have no idea how a free country behaves

Nazi Germany is more favorable to them.

This is fascism. How is this different from the Gestapo terrorizing communities to round up “illegal” Jews for expulsion in the 30s?

You know why Anne Frank’s family went into hiding in 1942? To avoid deportation. The “Central Office for Jewish Emigration” sent a notice for her 16 year old sister demanding she show up for processing. That is why they hid. But in MAGA’s eyes, that makes her family and the people who sheltered them the bad guys.

Oh? You think POTUS Stephen Miller wouldn't find a way to whiten America?

He should start with his own wife. Was she adopted from Guatemala or something? Did her parents forget to tell her?

Targeting states, withholding federal funds and resources from states that did not vote for him is constitutionally illegal.

ICE door to door will be met with more death. People will exercise 2A.

He’s targeting Minnesota. “They’re crooked officials. I feel that I won Minnesota 3 times but didn’t get credit for it. It’s a corrupt voting state with an incompetent Governor fool. I mean he’s a stupid person. The people, they were crying.”

They’re all cowards hiding behind Supreme Court Injustices. They too, will get theirs.

Trump is “the biggest crybaby in the history of American Politics.” - LO

They know that they are failing, so they are going to get worse. However, I’m actually more optimistic now overall.

These people are losers. Losers always screw it up.

Don’t disagree but a lot of lives are being ruined in the process.

The dissonance between the ICE disaster and Trump cluelessly talking about his White House renovations is jarring. The silence of Congress is disgraceful.

But I guess on the plus side more and more Americans are waking up and taking back our country.
