Union Station: Student prevented access?

I told them to go screw themselves. No badge, no warrant, no uniform = no lawful authority.

Administrative warrants (I-200, I-205) do not authorize searches, arrests, or detentions in public space.

They had no probable cause to ask.

I understand for a minor this would be hard.

Thanks Maga stupids.

I did.

63 year old white woman.

I told them to go to hell and no I was not going to show them anything.

I also helped about 10 kids get through as well. Told them I was a lawyer I know our rights and they had no right to ask anyone. Loudly and calm.

I don't know the kids but they were definitely shaken up.

Is this happening anywhere else? Gallery Place, etc?

Not to condone it at all, but if it seemed revived this week, probably linked to the afterschool shooting at 4:15 on Friday.

Again, not condoning the way they are militarizing this station (or the city for that matter) but that may have made them ramp things up.
