So this is what a 99-percenter looks and acts like?! Minus the Polo and Lilly, would be like every other kid at our MoCo elementary. |
So, is that all you need to do to score in the 99th percentile... wear Ralph Lauren or Lily Pulitzer? And here, I thought I had to buy a test prep kit. |

good, verry good. (if you're still here: where does Ted Williams go, do you think?) |
Hhmm. Just saw some Churchill girls with that hairstyle the other night. Looks like everyone is getting into this fashion. |
Perhaps more interesting, I wonder what any of our kids would think of most of the posters on this forum. |

Kids ARE reading these forums. They're so unbelievably ridiculous that the word is beginning to spread. I am a student, and I'm taking the liberty of telling you all that you're just giving DC parents a terrible name, and you're inviting more trolls than you're aware of. |
OK, I'll bite. Are you the anti-American troll? The anti-catholic school troll? Because those posters can't be grownups. Hate to blow your cover, but of course you can always assume a new cover. |
The irony is the young readers have more brains and common sense than the breast beating adults. |
I'm the 21:10 poster... I am in high school, as I basically already said in my other post. I'm not quite sure exactly what you're saying here...? Care to explain? |
There are certain personas here that specialize in getting a rise out of people. There's a catholic-baited who shows up on every Mater Dei thread to slam the school and the faith - makes me wonder if it's a kid whose team always loses to MD. Similarly, there's an anti-US troll who starts threads about how Americans can't do laundry, threads about how when they stop by her house after visiting the pumpkin patch they should leave all their pumpkins with her, and she may be the same person who started the thread about how she wants a Sidwell education for her foreign-born kid but at an elite school that won't make him study all that annoying US history stuff.
As Dave Barry would say, I'm not making this up. But, since these posters don't seem like adults, maybe it's a bunch if kids winding the grownups up? |
Adults are very easy to wind up, wind down then get divorced! |
Or, maybe it's just the nut-casery displayed by the aforementioned posters that attracts the goggle-eyed kids? |
