I like the bumps. It helps me, a recent DCUM convert, get caught up on all the idiocy I've missed through the years. |
Big freaking deal. So many of the kids in these schools are there because of who their parents are. |
And $$$$$ |
I think your parents are nuts. And I'm afraid that after the Big 3 experience so will you. |
Hate the bumps. You want to catch up, newbie, then do the work of digging in old threads yourself without forcing the rest of us to accompany you on your sentimental journey. |
I second the bumps. Good way to bring back topics that get many comments. Its been real quiet here lately. |
I like the bumps too. Plus, if the "bump" poster had tried to start a brand new thread, she would have been blasted with a dozen "do a search you lazy cow for the million threads on this." Some of you are never happy.... |
Has it not occurred to anyone that more conservative parents - who dress their kids more conservatively/traditionally and put more emphasis on old fashioned manners - choose to send their kids to conservative schools? I don't think this has anything to do with the kids |
What are "old fashioned manners"? |
This |
Nothing. You're way too into this |
I don't even know what the "Big 3" means |
Yes we know- we turned down NCS in 4th grade to go to Holton. Two fantastic schools, but we hated the buses up and down Wisconsin Ave and Woodley Road and the people roaming the Cathedral grounds could be a danger. |
Why are you reviving a thread that is from 2010?? |
Ran across it in a search. Seems like a timeless topic anyway. What's it to you? |
