DP Yes, there is a virtual engagement session at 6:30pm on Monday. I don't think it will be anything exciting. They will have an in person engagement session at Einstein the next day. I wonder how that will go. |
Sorry, not the next day, the day after the next day. Wednesday, December 3, 2025 6:30 - 8:30 pm In-Person (Albert Einstein High School |

SSIM issue shouldn't impact the WJ/Woodward boundary lines. Seems more of an issue for the high schools like Northwood, Einstein etc.
So whatever they illustrate for the WJ/Woodward boundary is likely the contender. |
It’s not an issue for Northwood or Einstein. Families will just move or go private. They already have a reduced course offerings that will get a further reduction when the staffing hits happen. MCPS and the other schools are deliberately doing this. |
| The treatment of the SSIMS community is awful and it should not be tolerated. |
Lots of schools and families are getting burned by this. The BOE is behind it all so there is nothing stopping it but the county council and they are going to support and fund it. |
Northwood will be getting much, much larger, and will be getting many more students and staff. |
It’s not getting that much more. |
It will obviously depend on which option is ultimately selected, but its capacity is growing by 700 students. |
| they closed the survey, despite saying new options released today would be "in addition" to the A, B, C and D. |
| survey doesn't matter and never has. this is all for show anyway. MCPS and BOE will impose their will on us. |
Probably just to revise the options. I expect a new link will be up later today. |
| I thought there was a session midday but I don't see it now? Do the new maps not come out until evening? |
perhaps they want a grand reveal tonight so they can avoid a day of people sending them emails about how bad the options are...as they come out of the holiday wknd. |
| Notice it is now called the Woodward/Northwood Boundary Study. no longer woodward. |
