Sounds like you’re worried JD won’t cut it. |
And this is what the Dems need. As much as I love someone thoughtful and calm like Pete Buttigieg, Dems have to ditch “we go high when they go low” and find someone who isn’t afraid to get in the mud pit with the GOP. They also need someone who was not part of the Biden administration. Someone who wasn’t sitting across from Biden (or kept from Biden, as the case was), and didn’t speak up to say that man was not capable of serving another four years. |
You mean the fifth largest economy in the world? Buddy, we should be so lucky after the current crop is done with our economy. |
Gavin was quite literally friends with Charlie Kirk. |
And tech people are moving *back* to California after they had left for Austin and Florida. |
| Love how JD is so uncharismatic he can’t even stay the topic of this thread! |
| If Trump runs for a third term, Obama should also run |
Americans don’t really care who wins debates. Surprisingly, debate nerds are unlikeable. |
An economy that Gavin has no clue how to manage. And, we want him to manage our nation's budget? Hell no. It seems like just yesterday that Gov. Gavin Newsom and state legislators enacted a state budget that papered over a $20 billion gap between income and outgo while blaming President Donald Trump for their fiscal dilemma. Trump, however, had nothing to do with what state officials have described as a “structural deficit,” meaning that spending encased in current law outstrips revenue expectations. Rather, it stems from what officialdom later acknowledged as a $165 billion error in revenue projections in 2022 that fueled Newsom’s boast of having a $97.5 billion surplus. That, in turn, resulted in a sharp increase in spending. When the surplus was exposed as a phantom, the state was stuck with a chronic income/outgo gap that persists. To cover it this year, Newsom and legislators tapped emergency reserves, borrowed money from the state treasury’s special funds, postponed some spending and engaged in some accounting gimmickry. https://calmatters.org/commentary/2025/10/california-chronic-deficit-budget/ |
No neocon is going to win the ticket. Anyone who hung their hat on this presidency can no longer claim they're America first on the political right, and this is probably going to be a litmus test. Especially the ones were seen as more normal before joining the admin like Rubio and Haley. There's too much anger brewing in the populist right and if people don't see it yet, it's coming. Some people, many with fairly large platforms, on the right are calling out Epstein, Butler, Kirk, Patel, Israel, Ukraine, Argentina, etc., as well as things like the economy/inflation/soldiers not getting proper healthcare (as well as soldier suicides). Hegseth lost a portion of the military with his patronizing of senior command. Dems need to hit all of these points consistently and stay the eff away from social engineering issues. It literally means for the white middle-aged SJW Karens to stfu (i.e., the wine moms and the resistance grandmas). There's going to be an internal fight in the Republican party unless Libs give them a reason to find a common target. On the Dem side, need to find a non-politician outsider with little baggage that's independently wealthy and not from the left coast—basically someone who can't be typecast and has a real policy platform from the jump. |
On the contrary..... This thread is evidence that liberals are worried about Vance. Already trying to demean him..... We know how you operate. |
lol JD sucks this much that you have to keep yammering about California? Why can’t you defend your baby boy? |
Was he tho? |
