Why is this ridiculous display over Bad Bunny not hurting MAGA at all?

Anonymous
This isn’t hard to understand. MAGA are not deep thinkers.
Bad Bunny turned on Trump after that infamous Madison Square Garden performance and endorsed Harris right before the election. Trump is just settling scores.

This! In addition, he is hot and most MAGAs are bald and fat. And don’t speak anything else besides English.

To be fair, he is not hot.

Google his Calvin Klein ad.

Haha I just googled it. Yummy

Wrong. MAGA likes to cruise. Where do you think they vacation?

Then you'd think they'd understand that Puerto Rico is part of the US and that Puerto Ricans are Americans rather than making the dumb comments they are making?

You think they vacation in Puerto Rico to experience Hispanic culture? No, it’s for the cheap booz and nice beaches.

Then the next day I heard my close friend go off about how upset she was that Bad Bunny was the one in the Super Bowl and how it was a disgrace. She is from PR and she thinks he is an embarrassment and hates him and everything he represents.

So, I don’t think your average American is thinking about the Super Bowl or Bad Bunny at all. I don’t think many older people even know who he is.

Two things:
1. He was only the number 1 most streamed artist globally for 3 years, beaten only by Taylor Swift in 2024 (he has over 100 billion streams). He has 51m youtube subscribers and 35m TikTok followers. So i think a lot of people know who he is and

2. We're not the ones with our knickers in a twist about it. That's Trump and Noem

I’m not talking about TikTok or YouTube subscribers. I’m talking about everyday people. If I ask any of my elderly relatives, they will tell you they know who Taylor Swift is. Many will likely not recognize the name Bad Bunny. That’s all I’m saying. This is why you aren’t hearing more people talk about this right now.

I don't think anyone is suggesting Bad Bunny has the name recognition Swift has. Most elderly people know who Swift is. Even Trump and Biden can probably recall hearing her name. Most elderly people think Bad Bunny is related some Easter Egg shortage.

????

Psychotic take. Lewandowski made comments last week and Kristi noem doubled down yesterday. How is that a ‘one sided beef cooked up to build hype for bad bunny?’

Debunking trolls is freaking annoying use of time

Lewandowski is a not even in the administration this time, and Kristi shoots baby dogs. I wouldn't take them as the litmus test for maga sentiment. This is fake and lame, one sided beef, and it's working.

Lewandowski is Noem’s “special advisor” and de facto chief of staff - we get to pay for him to bang her even though they’re both married to other people.

They have no idea who Bad Bunny is but the second FOX News says Bad Bunny is bad for whatever concocted reason they suddenly agree Bad Bunny is bad and have all sorts of halfbaked opinions about the matter.

This is my experience the last few days on Facebook, where middle aged and older folks are screaming about Bad Bunny hating America and not singing in English. Undoubtably most of them don’t understand the English lyrics of most popular music stars in general or who have performed the halftime show at the SB, but whatsoever this guy is brown, wears dresses, isn’t a real American, and won’t sing in English so they hate him because Fox and other right wing media told them to.

It’s ridiculous. Honestly I never knew who he was I’m middle aged and out of the loop but I’ve been watching his music videos and I’m excited to see what he does in the show. I don’t watch NFL but I will watch the halftime show probably later online.

Okay so Noem and her feck Boi don't like bad bunny, and so you believe that everyday rando maga people have an issue with him? Bish please. No one gives a shit. They are hyping this for clicks.

I'm a full fledged maga, and my feed is full of images of the Knights Templar amassing, with textual suggestions that it's time for a crusade. I've got footage of the riots in the UK with text that says some variation of "the time is coming". I've got lots and lots of reels from government agencies about taking out illegals.

I haven't seen shit about bad bunny. No one cares who is playing at the halftime show, my man. We have much bigger ambitions.

Nobody has the name recognition of Taylor Swift. Still... I am 53 and out of it and I have known Bad Bunny for years. He is super famous.

Politically moderate here and don’t really care about the Super Bowl.

My social media feed is empty of references to Bad Bunny. I’m guessing 1/3 my feed is right leaning or MAGA and none have posted. I’m guessing most people don’t care.

Yeah, that isn't enough to make maga care.

Theory: Kristi is in a love triangle with bad bunny and Lewandowski. She's beefing with him for clicks and Corey is beefing with him out of jealousy.
