Boy watched girls change in FCPS locker room area WSHS

If this is a trans girl, the article uses the wrong pronoun to describe who is in the bathroom.

The trans girl is a biological boy. Didn’t the person above say that kid they know went to lengths to use a stall when changing out of a bathing suit because they know the girls don’t want to see a male in their locker room?

The article states "a 14-year-old girl entered the girls’ locker room at West Springfield High School and changed into clothes for gym class, but as she was leaving the locker room, the girl encountered a male student who has “facial hair” and was “wearing pants that were so tight they clearly outlined his genitalia” standing inside the girls’ locker room and watching the girls preparing for P.E. class."

Would anyone be able to explain how this is acceptable?

Who said it was acceptable?

FCPS says it’s acceptable and is doing nothing to protect girls in locker rooms. Read the title IX complaint.

The complaint says West Springfield has about 2250 kids. Clearly it was drafted by someone who knew little about the school and couldn't be bothered to get their facts right.

They literally linked the fcps page saying that in the footnote. What do you want them to do, go in and do a headcount?

So OP can't get West Po and West Springfield straight.

And the complaint claims WSHS has 2250 kids when it has closer to 2800.

Tell me this isn't all being rushed out with little concern for accuracy to push a wedge issue before an election. If y'all can't get these basic facts right, why should we believe the other allegations?

The law suit was filed today. The events began around Sept 2 or 3. FCPS bungled it for a couple weeks and here we are.

Anyone with a kid at WSHS knows this is a 100% legitimate article.

FCPS is on the wrong side of this issue and is forcing administrators and teachers who know better to do the wrong thing, in violation of Title 9 and harming female students in FCPS who are supposed to be protected by Title 9.

What happened to:

No means no
See something, say something

And most importantly

Young women need to listen to their inner voice, and never let a man's feelings put your safety at risk.

We used to tell that to every young woman.

Just a few short years ago we taught our daughters that listening to your intuition and standing up loudly and proudly when a man makes you uncomfortable is the best thing you can do to protect yourself from potential rape, assault or even voyeurs and peeping Tom's (which this kid sounds like)

Why should we take away the voice of young women to protect themselves, just so a man doesn't get his feelings hurt (at best) or so he can fetishize these young women in vulnerable, intimate locations?

Enough is enough.

Did Me Too not mean a thing?

Well said! And no - think Me Too now is irrelevant. Not sure of safety for anyone in FCPS. The needs of the few are trampling on the rights of the many.

You can read the title x complaint. It’s posted in this thread. It sounds like the student was still using male pronouns for the first few weeks of using the girls locker room but switched to female pronouns after being told to stop using the girls locker room.

Do the boy's parents know that he is pretending to be a girl during PE so he can watch the girls change clothing?

This sounds like predatory behavior.

Peeping Tom's and voyeurs always escalate to more dangerous behaviors.

Why is FCPS not protecting girls?

This is an interesting question. FCPS used to socially transition kids without telling their parents, but do they still? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfVM-srwrxU

The language in this post is unacceptable. Trans girls are girls period. This is not “boy”, she — SHE — is a girl with male genitalia. It’s not hard people.

Omg. LOL LOL seriously?

Yes, seriously. There is a suicide epidemic among trans youth and the blame rests squarely on people like you who make the world much harder for them than it needs to be.

The suicide risk is a myth. A transgender child is no more likely to commit suicide than any other child with the same mental health co-morbidities. https://sex-matters.org/posts/updates/dispelling-the-suicide-myth/

Yes, they are pretty open that their policy is to social transition kids without parental involvement

Who cares. It was an error. The one in the article was correct, if you had bothered to read it.

No. That is not true. I believe you believe this but you have been deceived. And that stinks but your sincerely held but totally wrong ideas need to be put in perspective.

And, that myth is what they have used to convince parents that they must help their kids transition. The activists have convinced the parents of this. Sad.
