UVA and antisemitism on campus: have they taken steps to reduce it?

Red states are making it very difficult to get abortions so that doctors can be thrown in jail for using their medical judgement. So OB/GYNs are gradually leaving because they don't want to practice in these states. So it is not just a matter of not being able to get an abortion (of course your precious virgin will never have sex!). It will become an issue of being able to get basic medical care.

Plus they are now discouraging basic immunizations. Your kids are probably immunized so likely safe but I still would not want to expose myself to these people.

No, "they" didn't. Jim Ryan resigned on his own, and the Board accepted the resignation. Dozens of grants have been terminated, and millions upon millions of promised money rescinded. Important research projects are stalled and stopped. So yes, there is a lot of concern about academic freedom and inquiry at UVA.

Faculty and student groups have expressed no confidence in the University governing body for failing to protect the university from "outside political influence."

Well, virtually all of my Jewish family and friends from childhood, high school, and college prefer Blue States. I have a few in my circle who are happy in remote college towns within Red States but only because their towns are islands. The majority of my Jewish family and friends are also anti-Netanyahu. It is pretty clear to anyone who is thinking where there are more anti-semites.

It’s amazing how brainwashed they are. The South has always been the most racist for non-whites and non-Christians and still is. My kid is at an Ivy (not Columbia or Harvard) that saw very little protests- no encampments —much less than UVA, GW, etc. What they did have was shutdown very quickly, students were expelled, they voted against divestment.

Anyone with half a brain knows that Trump is falsely using anti-Semitism as a smokescreen to go in and control universities as we move towards a fascist government at lightning speed.
