UVA and antisemitism on campus: have they taken steps to reduce it?

DD is apply for next year. We are extremely worried about all the reports of aggressive student protesters on campus, near-riots at demonstrations, and professors discriminating against Jewish students on campus.
Have they done things to stop this at UVA ? |

| I am Jewish and my child is a sophomore at UVA. I can assure you that anti-semitism is nowhere close to the problem that the Trump administration pressure and political interference are. The first is a non-issue, the others extremely worrisome. |

Protesters can protest! It has nothing to do with your kid- and your kid should be protesting too, btw. Don't conflate that with anti semitism.

I am skeptical that "Trump administration pressure and political interference" has any practical effect on the ordinary student. How does it affect the daily conduct and content of the classes? Whatever that stuff is, it's happening above the heads of the students. |

I see you posted an article from the daily progress, a.k.a. “the daily regress” as we used to call it at UVA.
It is very much a conservative rag, similar to the Richmond times dispatch or the Wall Street Journal opinion page. Anyone who disagrees with you or asks for some validation is not an antisemite. Also, your name calling is not endearing me to you. |
