How quick into dating did you sleep with DH / DW?

Virgin here. Dating cute tall man every time I think of him I get horny. It's been about a year. I have a high drive but im disciplined.

I was 21 and him 26. Lost my virginity to him about 2 months after we met - we stayed together for a year, but broke up for 5 years due to long distance (we had to both move to different places for job opportunities). Finally were able to be in the same city, got back together, and a few years later got married. Happily married now 12 years

LOL. 3 years. We slept together on our wedding night. We were in a conservative country and conservative society. Lots of external uncertainties in our relationship. Met at 22, married at 25. I was very clear that I wanted to only sleep with my husband, not my sweetheart. I wanted a family, kids, a certain lifestyle, career, education, social standing. And I was not going to jeopardize that.

Very sexually compatible marriage and we both like sex. We are in our 60s now. I am amazed to read of all the dead bedrooms and marriages in US because easy access to your sexual partner is the. great benefit of being married.

My 10-year (age 32-42) marriage was completely sexless for 7 out of 10 years. And it was awful. You are lucky.

I am sorry to hear this. A genuine question I want to ask is why is that? I would think that a society where sexual freedom is available for all, people are free to marry the people they like and divorces are so very easy - why are so many married people not having sex? Is it a relationship issue? Is it a hormonal issue? Do they fall in love with other people? Is it because they are not bonded to the person they are married to through sex?

BTW - DH and I were virgins when we married and we will never have sex with any other people in this life. So we are it for each other. Does that make us value marital relations more?

It was about 6-7 weeks into dating, we were both mid-30s.

College hookup. No dates yet then. He was in my wider social circle for about a year when it happened. We were both 22. Been together for 10+ years, multiple kids, and it keeps getting better.
