The second time we met, which was abnormal for me, I viewed it as a rebound and did not take him seriously. I never expected to hear from him again and certainly did not follow up. The more I blew him off after, the harder he tried. Funny how life works out.

Same here. Still together and very happy.

1 year. We met a month before he was due to leave for a job abroad, and he proposed on the second date. We hadn't even kissed. Then I went to visit him after one year and it was basically a honeymoon. We got married 3 years after that.
