She's the glue of that family. I think Khloe is a great mother/provider as well. That's not me saying everything they do is right.

Yup people are all “I’m so sex positive” except when it comes to how Kris raises her daughters.

+1. Same for Bob Dylan. The Hollywood/music machine literally creates these people. Billy Joel is a corny hack too.

Interesting, I don't like Taylor, but she's always struck me as your typical liberal Girl Boss Dem. What makes you think she's MAGA?

It’s a stereotype that MAGA are not girl boss. They just wrap it in different veneer - neck turns the head.

Sure…70s and 80s country music. Garth Brooks was the beginning of the overproduced Hollywood parasite fueled garbage. Everything on the radio now sounds like AI rap country crap - binge drinking, bare feet, dirt roads, repeat.

Anonymous wrote:Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, and most A list American actresses can’t really act. They are just pretty girls with good hair and charisma who got lucky with a big role that catapulted them to fame and the industry shoved them down our throat by putting them in everything.

The best actresses who can actually act instead of simply playing themselves are few and far between (and generally not nearly as famous).

I respect this opinion and don't even really disagree with it, but I don't think American-esque charisma should be devalued. I actually think we have too few of those stars these days, and that's a problem in getting people to go to the theaters. Just look at how terrible Sydney Sweeney was in Anyone But You.

Also a quibble, because I get your broader point, but I wouldn't group Jennifer Aniston in the same crowd that includes Julia Roberts, Reese Witherspoon, and Sandra Bullock.

PP very true. Sydney Sweeney is trying to be a girl boss and talks about how much effort she puts into producing movies, but she's a registered Repub.

Agreed.

Aniston had the hair but has always been devoid of any personality or charisma.

Emma Stone is charming and charismatic, but I don't find her funny, so I'm always confused when people say she's hilarious. Like she's never said or done anything in interviews or in-character in movies that has made me laugh.

I’m not Team- Conrad. He should have spoken up years ago and at least dated other people in the ensuing years.

Downton Abbey was boring and overrated.

And I say that as someone who loves British tv and period pieces.

The Kiera Knightley version of Pride and Prejudice is the best one. No contest.

All the corporate music since covid sounds AI-generated. Disney music has been especially bad. The Women I work out with have been gaga about the music from K pop demon hunters and again...AI.
I pretty much exclusively listen to old Brazilian music these days and when someone stops by my workspace they say it sounds like a hotel lobby.
I feel like I am from another planet.

I hated the Hunger Games (books and movies.)
