It’s sorority video season

These beautiful women are seizing their moment and living their best lives.

This doesn’t actually have anything to do with college or university. You might as well post a video of college students at a club or bar and call it “college or university discussion.”

Strange that some parents are proud of their children behaving like unpaid back up dancers in a bad country music video.

Bleh. I didn’t want to be in a sorority in college. I had a lot of guy friends. The amount of drama and back stabbing and BS, no thanks. I always said I’d rather join a fraternity—just drink and play beer pong w/out the drama. Someone told me “whenever a large group of women get together, they are a bunch of b@tches”. I did attend a large university with very minimal Greek life, so there’s that. And, yes, I was very attractive because I know the inevitable …response to a post like this so let me just get that out there.

1 MILLION

“I didn’t got to college to play school”…a quote I saw from a famous D1 athlete (forget who), but that is exactly what comes to mind when I see these nitwit videos.

I despise country music and that video had me throwing up in my mouth.

I am so glad I was in college during Nirvana, Red Hot Chilli peppers, Alanis Morissette, No Doubt, counting crows, etc

Grunge! girls weren’t half naked and acting like strippers or Vegas showgirls—- Thad would have been so uncool.

Who will date those girls.

I showed my 20 yr old son that video and he laughed. He said those girls pay for their friends and are probably idiots too. Mommy and daddy foot the bill so they can have a 4-5 yr long sleepover.

They probably don't care much about politics.

It's not OK to expose one's daughters on social media to all and sundry and not-very-subtly celebrate their sex appeal, knowing who is going to follow and gawk.

I have a big problem with this type of American subculture.

I didn't think the sorority moms got together and dressed their girls in Daisy dukes to dance for a tik tok video. I'm almost certain that is not the dads either. I suspect these girls think they are adults and can do what they want, the nerve of them. No wonder people call their spirit "all for free"

The thing people forget about Gen X is that we were young adults during the AIDS epidemic, it was a death sentence. It affected how we viewed casual sex.
