The present BOE is supposed to be supervising and evaluating Taylor's performance as superintendent. You know, the guy who notified by the OIG in December 2024 that he needed to get background check compliance in order and waited until three weeks before the report was released to try and clean up his act? |
as far back as 2000? |
|
Why didnt Weast through McKnight clean it up?
Did they hire Jones to do so? |
The background screening office is under HR, which has had a series of ineffective leaders. |
Here we go again
|
But wouldn't reporting of crimes and interacting with the FBI and police fall under Marcus's jurisdiction? There's no way his office isn't involved in SOME way. And honestly, no way that his office shouldn't have flagged that this was an issue, if he wasn't responsible for maintaining the records. |
Why are Supers' contracts multi year? Max six months at a time. They need to prove they can handle it, baby steps. 6month contract extended based on performance. |
No, hr. |
Yes. |
Can you name them? Is it one person or multiple? |
Thank you for sharing this! This is helpful. |
What are Jones' duties? How many metal detectors can be purchased with his salary? Plus with $ from bloated jobs in CO, could you get another few detectors? If BOE is not doing anything, that's another 25k from each BOE member |
Well, Taylor and the BOE said he needed a year just to get acquainted with the school system, so I don't think 6-month contracts would fly. |
Ok, so 1 year at first, then 6 months at a time. |
School system needs to be broken up. While they discuss regional programs, draw district lines, MoCo school district 1, district 2 etc.. |
