Montgomery County's OIG Megan Limarzi just released a detailed and blistering report on MCPS's years of non-compliance with background and CPS checks.
Here's the full report: https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/OIG/Resources/Files/PDF/IGActivity/FY2026/MCPSBackgroundScreeningOffice.pdf Here's where Limarzi aims her bullseye at Taylor:

| Taylor sent out a mass message through MCPS in response to the release of the OIG report: https://ww2.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/publicinfo/community/school-year-2025-2026/Community-Message-20250804.html |

The letter raises some interesting counterpoints. |

Taylor's letter? How so? I have no idea how or why Taylor is saying our children are safe while simultaneously admitting to the lapse in protocol, process and compliance with background and CPS checks. I think it's dangerous to make such a declarative assertion given the facts the OIG has laid out. |
| Well that explains why MCPS sent me 5 copies of the press release for what they are doing to ensure compliance. |
Right now, it's this woman:

They know things. She announced she's not running before having to deal with fallouts left and right. |
Was that your beach reading? |

Given the ongoing fiscal mismanagement and their apparent inability to conduct even a basic background check, it’s clear that MCPS can no longer function as a self-sufficient entity. This is where Beidelman learned it. Deflect then self-promote then deflect again. |
