I also agree. It’s a large print and looks nothing like a wedding dress. |

Would you all wear this all white to an engagement party?

There is this color option of the same or similar dress

| Why did you even consider that? I can’t imagine anyone who that would be flattering on besides the point that it’s 98% white flash cream. |
It looks like a fricking mumu. |
Not wearing white is about not upstaging the bride. While I am sure OP is awesome, at 50 and in a beige-navy print dress, she’s not upstaging the bride. |
Yeah, that dress is ugly as sin, so no one‘s upstaging anyone in that dress. But lots of people are gonna look at her and be like why the heck did she pick cream? |

Only old fashion-police type women. |
+1 This thread is amusing. I wouldn’t think twice about someone wearing a cream/beige and navy print dress to a wedding. These are the kind of twits who judge women who dare to wear white pants after Labor Day. |
| Yes of course, it's very clearly not a wedding dress. Any woman who gets offended by someone wearing a dress that has even a hint of white in it is a bridezilla. Nobody is going to mistake what you're wearing for a wedding dress. Just like nobody mistook the cocktail dress I wore that was cream with black pinstripes on it to a friend's wedding as a wedding dress. And no, losers, I did not run it by her friend. She did not seem surprised or offended that I was wearing a cream and black dress to her wedding, I bet she didn't even notice. |

+1 One of my friends wore a solid cream dress to my wedding and I could not have cared less! It’s not like anyone was confused about who the bride was. So many insecure women here. |
I might wear all white to an engagement party, I would never wear that outfit, though. |
| Forget tradition, the dress is just ugly |
