I agree. We have long hair too. And no, it's not fake. No one I know has fake hair. That's not a thing where we are, in Bethesda.

I have long hair because it’s hardly any maintenance. Let it grow out during Covid and decided I liked it. Straight, to bottom of bra strap, lightly highlighted twice a year. Easy to wear up or down depending on mood or what I’m doing. Lucky that I’m early 60’s and haven’t gone white yet.

Who knows when they actually change. But once age and gravity hit your face and hair, it’s worth considering whether there is a better more flattering style.

I think Demi Moore looks so much better with shoulder length hair.

That “Crystal Gale”, “Jane Seymour” waist length hair is gross. It also ages her.

Which is funny, because all the men I know love long hair, are perfectly ready to live with long hair, and prefer it when their wives don't cut their hair too short. Caucasian and Asian men, for the most part.

I'm going to conclude that there's a small group of posters on DCUM who for some reason cannot have or do not want long hair and are jealous. Just like on the Fashion Forum, when trolls claim you can't wear a bikini past a certain age because they themselves don't have the confidence to wear one.

If you read this board, we know men prefer a few pounds on a woman rather than the thin-thin look. Men prefer shorter tighter clothes than women on this board like. There have been many posts on women doing what they like and thinking their fashion preference is better. Why would it be different for long hair? If anything it’s an area where it’s clear their opinion kind of sucks. They would prefer long split end messy hair because it has a more sexual air than healthy shiny short hair

Realize that the reason you are seeing more + more women w/long hair now is because hair extensions are very popular right now.

Not just celebrities wear them nowadays.
