My wife has shoulder length hair and that allows her to wear it in different ways which I like. Some women I know have fairly short hair and they look great. I’m far from being an expert but I assume that face shape has a lot to do with the right hairstyle. |
Sorry, one's natural features are never "excessive". If you're talking about something artificial that looks artificial, then sure. But some people are born with a large chest. Some people enjoy having long hair. Long hair is very nearly always natural (don't know about AA hair). It can be braided, put in a ponytail, bun, etc, It's very versatile. I reject this automatic aspersion cast upon waist-length hair. |
One man's view: Shoulder to about mid-back is optimal. The more you deviate from that in either direction - longer or shorter - the less attractive.
I also think age matters. A short cut on a younger woman can look very feminine, but less so on an older woman. |
yes, and hair texture/volume. |
You seem like a good guy! I have short hair because I prefer it and it looks better for me. I don't tell my husband how he should style his hair and he doesn't tell me. We have been happily married for almost 32 years! |
Booo! I knew you would show up. |
My personal opinion: Keeping your hair colored regularly is way more important than length. Good hair coloring and clean living is the best way to age gracefully. |
My last boyfriend really liked my hair long. The longer the better. It was down to the bottom of my boobs. And he got very annoyed at me when I wanted to get my usual summer haircut. I kept it long for him fir awhile, then we broke up, and getting it cut was a huge relief because it's so damn hot here in the summer.
He liked his hair longer too, and I hate long hair on men, so the breakup was probably for the best. |
Mid back is ideal for me, but it needs to be well maintained and have some volume to it. If it is thin and flat, should lengths is ideal. |
Weaves!!!! So nasty |
Yuck |
This is about 2-4 inches too long. |
Men will say they love long hair on women but then the reality of living with a woman with very long hair is annoying.
If you prefer longer hair on your wife, you should have to be the one to clean the hair out of the shower drain and the floor and walls of the shower, pay extra for longer salon visits, etc. If you consider any of that "high maintenance" then you really have no right to this preference. |
When hair is longer than bra-strap length, it veers away from sexy and enters the sister wife domain. |
I'd tap dat |
