Yes, it’s intolerable! I’m glad you agree. |

+100 but I notice when young people are surrounded by other young g people who do not use those manners, they don’t either. There is an overabundance of what the kids refer to as “main characters.” |
Quelle horreur! Keep it classy in French! |
It sounds like you don't have very good situational or spatial awareness. Do you also get honked at in traffic and get into a lot of fender benders? |
This is not true…..at least in my case.
I am fifty-six & I ALWAYS say “excuse me” especially if I need to pass in front of a shelf that a person is looking at in a store aisle. My parents were very strict about me always doing this and at this stage in my life it is now wholly engrained in me. Kinda like brushing my teeth every morning. Lol 😝 |
I’m a 70 year old guy (ex military) & call all people sir & ma’am—especially young people working at fast food places—unless I can’t tell which sex they are. I worked plenty of retail jobs & know how people dealing with the public get treated like crap much of the time. Calling them sir or ma’am with no sarcasm attached is one way to show your respect. |
Society overall in many cities got wimpy and no longer smacks someone upside the head if they are rude. There are places you still say that and more, such as sir and mam and tipping your hat, or else you get confronted or worse. |
What a stupid thing to say. What did you read that about the royals and decide to put on airs? You’re not fooling anyone. |
