Great way to add economic diversity to Whitman and Churchill. |
Don’t you creat a privacy issue for the only FARMS students who bus to Whitman or Churchill? |
it's voluntary. |
better yet, every kid lotteries into a high school for 9th grade and then must lottery to a different high school for 11th. |
Why? |
So kids aren’t stuck with the same behavioral issues kid all four years. |
Oh why not just pay kids enough that they are no longer FARMS? |
How would parents without cars (there are many) get to afterschool activities in the distant school? |
Pretty sure FARMS stays is protected under FERPA. If they’re the only kids on the bus, won’t everyone know they are on FARMS? |
Microschools across the area based in peoples homes. |
MCPS would pay for ubers |
Virtual |
All non farms parents would be forced to contribute to a pool to buy cars for those parents. |
It’s not like they are the only ones on buses since other kids ride buses to Whitman. |
Yah, that's a good point. Problem is if you allow anyone to take a bus then pretty much it will be non-FARMS kids in the bus. I don't have any solution for that. |
