my refinements to Option 3 would be to burn it in a trash fire.

take a portion of Whitman and ship it to Einstein

ship Takoma Park to Whitman

Kensington goes to Einstein

Swap a portion of Takoma Park and Whitman

just have all kids lottery to any high school regardless of the location and provide bus service to all

10% seats should be reserved for FARMS students who can attend Whitman from anywhere without MCPS providing transportation. Not sure if spots will be taken but it can work and add much needed diversity to Whitman.

It will be opt in so no one is forcing anyone to a bus ride. We may get only 2% seat filled like this or 20% but it can be tried for areas like Whitman and Churchill where you can't add economic diversity easily.

I can see the benefit of this. Families/kids who want to travel to attend Whitman/Churchill will be motivated and most liekly to benefit from attending low FARM schools. Not sure how many can be filled but worthwhile trying.
