Insurance won't pay, that appears clear. But will families still be able to get vaccinations at pharmacies? Will kids be able to get the vaccine at all? https://www.statnews.com/2025/05/15/covid-vaccine-recommendations-rfk-jr-reportedly-reversing-for-children-pregnant-women/

Why are you doing Covid hysteria 5 years later?

Just stop. If you trust The Science™️ you know that the vaccine neither stops transmission nor infection. And children have the least amount of morbidity from the virus.

Doesn't stop it, but does significantly reduce it.

DP. No, it does not. My family members take every single new Covid vaccine and all continue to get Covid. Meanwhile, I stopped after the first vaccines came out and haven't had it since. The vaccine simply does NOT stop Covid.

This is post perfectly encapsulates the problem with anti-vaxxers. They trust anecdotes while ignoring actual peer reviewed studies. This poster’s personal experience is all that matters to them,

The whole protect women and children went out the window when democrats kept schools closed much, much longer than needed.

In an effort to own the republicans they decimated a generation of children and set women in the workforce back.

The societal, educational and economic consequences were completely ignored in favor of public health goals. And that is why there is a big political backlash

Don't you know? Republicans are only pro-masking when they're making deportations. And the only "pro-shot" they are is when a gun is in-hand.

If you're glad kids live longer now, you should thank plumbing not vaccines.

Vaccine injuries are exceedingly rare, but you, maybe we should have you checked out.

They would never do it, but I would love to see the mortality of 18th Century vaccination and 21st Century plumbing vs 18th Century plumbing and 21st Century vaccination. If you had to pick, which group would you want to be a part of?

It was an unprecedented public health event in our life times. People did the best they could based on the information available. No one was looking to screw you over save if you lived in a blue state and Trump denied PPE to your state.

Are you effing serious? My parents grew up on farms, one family getting indoor plumbing much earlier than the other. But dang, both families were elated when the polio vaccine hit the market as their parents kept them sequestered at home during outbreaks.

It’s not either/or.

What does that have to do with vaccines?

They want the rest of the country to die at the same rate as MAGAs.

Hong Kong is first world while we are sliding backward to the age of witchcraft and potions.

And leeches. Don't forget the leeches.

I took the initial vaccines when they first came out, but no more. Way too many side effects and it doesn't prevent anyone from getting Covid.

Because if they don't get the vaccinations, the symptoms could be much, much worse than "a flu"

Measles is happening. It is incredibly under-reported, but there should be zero cases and instead, there are thousands.

Show me the numbers and data that support your claim.

Glad they are removing it from the list of recommended vaccines.

Tell it to the parents whose kids died of Covid.

The vaccine isn’t required for children, just as the flu vaccine isn’t required. Each parent can decide.

I agree with you on a personal level but to each their own regarding whether or not the Covid vaccine is worthwhile. Government shouldn't be forcing the Covid vaccine on anyone and government shouldn't be creating barriers for anyone who may wish to be vaccinated. Like with most things, less government is better government.

PP here. Yes, I agree with you. But where is the evidence that the government is preventing anyone from taking the Covid vaccine?

The OP of this thread suggested the Dept. of HHS was changing their stance on Covid Vaccines which could possibly lead to barriers for those still seeking updated vaccines. It appears HHS is ending their recommendations of getting updated Covid vaccines which isn't necessarily a barrier. My point was forward looking to may or may not happen.

I don't think government should have any role whatsoever in influencing medical decisions made by individuals for themselves or for their dependents. I advocated for and encouraged the Covid Vaccine in 2021 but I didn't support government mandates of any kind and I don't support government making it more difficult for anyone who wants to remain updated with Covid vaccines to do so.

the only government mandates were for people who worked for the government and military. Please stop with the BS. If your private employer mandated it, you could have quit and gotten a different job. If your kid's school mandated it, you could homeschool. But when living in a society with other people, the public health studies and rules are there to protect, particularly the people who are older, younger or immunocompromised, in this case.
