And public schools would have even less money to support SPED. Defunding our public schools to subsidize tuition for wealthy families only hurts our community. No vouchers. |
| If schools accepts vouchers then they can't kick out students and need to provide IEP etc services. Non public schools choose their students. So the ones that need the most help are then back in underfunded public schools. |
Of course parents should. It’s the absolute worst when parents who send their kids to private school oppose vouchers. The public schools aren’t good enough for their kids, but are good enough for the poors! Gross. Our kids’ school in Indiana has a high percentage of voucher students and is absolutely phenomenal. The public’s are horrible. |
As compared to the Republicans lies?
|
This isn't giving parents a choice. It's giving private schools a choice of more students and $. They can not admit students that down work for them or don't pass their requirements. Public school funds are required to educate everyone. |
Public schools aren’t underfunded, they just use the money badly. Take computers out of schools and actually try teaching kids, for one. |
So what problems are the vouchers solving? They are not improving the public schools. You don't care about those kids - but you should. When they grow up, they will be your kids' peers. |
Because they defund the public schools. They don’t benefit the community. Only wealthy people who already have kids in private school. |
VA schools are absolutely underfunded. |
Exactly |
MAGA doesn’t care about facts. Fact: vouchers suck. |
^ more inconvenient facts for MAGA idiots to ignore. |
Does your school serve students with special needs? Do any of the students using vouchers have special needs? |
| Its sole purpose is to benefit Christian schools. If they could find a way to eliminate Muslim schools they would. |
Nonsense. Poor people, even most of middle class with more than one child, can't afford private schools even with vouchers. |
