| Williams is the Bucknell of Massachusetts- complete with a pipeline to the street! |
Kind of par for the course these days, though. |
One of these things is not like the other. Very few in in NYC has even heard of Bucknell. The first time I heard about this college was on this site! The co-heads of the hedge fund where I work, went to Williams and Cornell, respectively. Guess where we recruited most of our incoming analysts and traders from? Robert G. scott, the former President and COO of Morgan Stanley is a graduate of Williams. I can list 100 more successful finance people, but that’s something you could google yourself. |
Amen. |
Nothin curious about it. Sometimes you stand up to a bully, or “meet someone where they are”…. Choose your cliche. Does it matter which one? The OP took a shit swipe at Pomona. Playtime palace? Please. Defend it all you like. —no dog in this fight either. But no one likes an A-hole |
Bucknell? Lafayette? Gettysburg? |
I think Williams is a great school. I am an immigrant and my school from India has more CEOs in Silicon Valley (including the CEO of Google), and top people at fortune 500 companies, VC firms, and hedgefunds than many of the colleges people discuss here. It really does not matter where you go to school because the world has 7 billion people and there are many hungry and smart prople. Our education in was free. Now I am paying $60k for private school and $90k per year for college (at a top 15 school) and my kid got his first internship through my college contacts. |
You know HUNDREDS of Williams graduates? You must live/work in Williamstown. |
| It’s always going to be the best because it is Williams-the exemplary liberal arts college. No school compares |
Isn’t responding-in-kind just letting the a-holes set the terms for how you are in the world? |
And I say to that, “Hah!” |
