ISO cocktail attire suggestions for a gala

Threads like this can be frustrating. I posted multiple suggestions and OP didn't respond to a single suggestion or question I asked to help find something.

Unfortunately it keeps people from wanting to waste their time trying to help on stuff. I see it happens all the time on Travel and Food too.

NP but loving this for your body type and event—avoid black for a spring gala.

Black is fine for a spring gala in the DMV. Probably at least 1/3 of the folks there will be in black. This isn't Alabama.
