They are not coming in at an untenable rate. The backlog is dropping, but unfortunately too high, and a lot of trouble to locate and deport.

ALJs are specialized. AND JUDGES ARE NONPARTISAN. I know ALJs. They take that part very, very seriously. I work with them and couldn’t tell you their political leanings. FFS, if you fire them all every 4 years, they never get up to speed, let alone get the competence to manage a caseload and mentor new Judges. And you don’t get to complain about a backlog. Because you created it.

I think the argument many conservatives make is that Biden ignored the law by letting them into the country, and in the process ignoring the Constitution ("he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed" Const. Art. II, Sec. 3). So why should they get full Due Process rights to stay when they had no legal right to be here in the first place? The Constitution guarantees certain rights, such as the right to vote and the right to keep and bear arms - so if illegal aliens have Constitutional rights to Due Process, by logical extension, don't they have those as well?
