Funny I work for an agency with your backwards views you probably support. Me and several others will leave voluntarily once we qualify for incentives to leave. You will get your wall and other technology that isn't needed and spend way more in the long run because any due diligence about what we are buying is out the window. Not really relevant, I will retire early and drive my kid whenever it's needed. Not sure how you win in this scenerio except thinking the government doesn't do anything for you. You will find out soon enough.

We can cut 25% of government workforce and nobody outside DC Metro will notice or care. Also noticed all my government worker neighbors cutting their lawns on the weekends now.

What a difference. I remember in 2022 everyone and anyone racing to sign up with the hot shot private trainer and talking about camps, futsal, super copa for eight year olds (paying the coaches expenses), you name it. Sideline talk is not the same anymore. The climate is darker.

Please do some research before offering advice. Over 4 out of 5 in Fed gov not in DC, MD or VA. It is not centralized in a single area.

This thread is just like the Media. Whether Left or Right, people only want to believe what they want to. Most of you don’t do your own research and only believe what CNN or Faux News tell you. The DOW lost over 25% in its value in 2022 and people were still paying for private training, etc. No big clubs went under. Some clubs formed partnerships and that was about it.

All the tariffs are is Trump showing his ass trying to earn some leverage against other countries charging us tariffs. It will come and go. I’m guessing the majority here probably doesn’t even know Countries like Vietnam have close to a 50% tariff on US goods. Be it, our exports are minimal compared to imports.

Anywho, the only feat that anyone should have is war breaking out with Iran. That is a legit threat to our way of living.
