Then my 20 year old staffer would say “I am so tired!” in response to Good Morning “how are you?”

?? How does your situation make your coworker not tired? I hate this BS. I have two kids and I also completely accept others can be tired too, even without kids! Moms aren’t the only people allowed to be tired.

I checked back in this after work. You won. You are the better person. I might make it to heaven, but I can’t be sure due to my complaints and views

Really? is a $10 scone a bargain anywhere?

This thread is why I will continue to pack lunch for work. I don't care to be RIPPED OFF like that.

So much for RTO helping downtown business. As far as I can tell, only WMATA is getting more money due to RTO … and ironically that money comes from the feds.

As has been noted. You have a job so shut your pie hole and stop complaining. No one held a gun to your head to purchase a gross over priced coffee and scone.

You need coffee with a side of compassion.

No one is forcing you to pay DC takeout prices.
This. Just don't buy anything.

Shouldn’t you be job hunting or polishing your resume?

I don’t want to say because I don’t think it’s their fault. It was delicious and I’m sure the cost reflects inflation. it wasn’t Starbucks though.

DoorDash has a huge markup. Plus fees and a tip. I believe it.
