Peas with those little pearl onions. I can't find them anymore. They were still in the stores a few years ago, both frozen and canned, but seem to have gone the way of the dodo now...

I have never seen them with peas, but you can still get the little pearl onions! It's not a childhood/nostalgia recipe but I marinate then roast them in a mix of soy/worchestershire/balsalmic with the mini sweet bell peppers as a side dish.

This was us too. TV Dinners with a baby sitter. There was one that came with a brownie. I do not think I ate the meal...just the brownie.
