I’ve never heard of an Admissions Fund. There are Annual Fund drives at most schools, so it’s possible that they have another child at the school already and donated to the Annual Fund.

Ravenna says GDS decision won’t be available until after 11:59pm. Sld I assume this is a not accepted? Seems everyone else has heard and has WL or Accepted here.

Potomac School - waitlisted
We did not get in anywhere. I am so incredibly disappointed. Do we have any hope to get off waitlists..

Reach out to Potomac and tell them they are your first choice and if extended an offer, you will accept. It’s highest probability of the 3 schools.

Actually Maret would be the highest probability now.

lol no

I used my company gift match to get to

The first rule of the admissions fund is that you don’t talk about the admissions fund.

I hope this is a joke. What would you even donate to at this point?

6th - applied only to Burke and SSFS.

Admitted to both. Taking Burke!

Kindergarten - accepted at Norwood and Waitlisted at Sidwell. We love Norwood actually so happy about this, but curious if Sidwell actually rejects anyone for K. It seems like a ton of students are waitlisted for K.

Yes I’m wondering the same, seems like most people are waitlisted for Sidwell for K

Well played!

I think this junk about an Admissions Fund is a cruel joke, especially given that people are disappointed in results. And that’s just so mean, even for people on this board.
