Not for Musk, it’s about to ramp up.

+1. Same with Trump and Melania and the other morally bankrupt billionaire CEOs who somehow think they need more money. I'm looking at you Zuck and Bezos.

I find it funny how all of these Rogan listeners think they understand economics. "Just cut everything and it'll be good. Except for people we don't like. Them poor." The reckoning of a deep, long recession that hurts those it always does--the... shall we say... less intelligent among us--will be shocking. Yes, DMV will get wrecked--but the smart people here will move to take up remaining good jobs. It'll be J.D. Vance's white working class that takes the hit, again. Wash, rinse, repeat.

We don’t have kids (and won’t be, in light of the current economy) and my husband’s stable job is here, but i also am so depressed and wish I could leave. We also just bought a house.

Why would you hold off having kids.

That doesn't make sense, especially if you are looking at a situation where one patent might be home for a few years.

Do you have kids? Responsible people do not want to bring children into an unstable chaotic world.

I don’t think I would want to bring a child into this sh#*show. Who knows where this country is headed. It’s very scary.

Kids are expensive. And having them grow up in a facsist regime…no thanks.

You don't want them badly enough then. Not having kids was not an option for us.

Why would you bring kids into the world knowing that we all will be homeless and fighting for food?

Uh, I have two amazing kids, and every day lately, I look at their happy little selves and feel so much grief about the country we are leaving them.

I wish we can go back to the olden times. The world is so much safer in

1930s - Great Depression
1940s - World War 2
1950s to 1970s - Nuclear Arms Race and Cold War
1980s and 2024 - Golden age of tolerance for LGBTIQ+, minorities, etc.

I really wanted kids, too. I despise everyone who voted for this who has taken that away from me. I will never get to have a family thanks to this administration. It’s horrible.

The era of competence and service delivery is over. The era of corruption, grift, and catastrophic vicious incompetence is upon us.

I think you go it backwards.

+1 and don’t have kids you can’t afford. It is a choice.

Sure it was. You opted yes. It is a choice.

More than 90% of the world population and nearly 100% of all the people who lived before us, would be ecstatic to live currently in the USA.

The world has never been a better, safer, and more livable place than now. And the USA is the luckiest place you can be. Ignore the politics.

There's no grift, PP. I work hard, a lot harder than some of the Feds on my client team. I deserve every dollar that I earn. What I want to know is that after they let go so many of the Feds and stop all the contracts, who is going to do the work? Who is going to actually make sure the American people get what they need?
