Is that all of their 2024 recruits? Yikes. Would've expected more. |
What level are you talking???? The coaches in general or are you saying a specific age group? |

2011 called they want to know the source of this rot and eliminate it
|
FVU had eight compared to the six from Pittsburgh River Hounds. More prestigious colleges, academic wise, for the most part but that wasn't involved in the original statement. For 2023, both FVU and Pittsburgh Riverhounds both six college commits each. |

Don’t feed another VDA throll. Pointless post!
Go get a hobby! |
ummm ECNL girls are doing fine with college. Not sure your point. |
This is a bit off. Arlington is the only stable program. They will now have an influx of FVU and NVA girls. The girls that left -- left to go to NVA and FVU. They come back now. College commits are quite solid. |
If this is all for 2024s then this is quite low and proves the point above. Most ECNL teams have almost their entire roster committed. |
The point is that the players talent gets them in to college. You get it now? |
Well no. Talent only gets you so far in life. You could be the most talented soccer player in the US but playing in NCSL and no one would know it. Talent is needed but so is the marketing. Girl 9 on an ordinary GA team is not getting recruited heavily. Same girl even as girl 14 on an ECNL is being recruited --- even D1 options. That is the issue that GA is facing. |
If you're the most talented player you're gonna go to camps and guest play. There's more than one way to skin a cat. Any decent college coach can say hey, that 9 finishes very well, is always in the right spot, etc... Then they'll say hey, come out to our ID so they can pair them with their midfield to see if the same results translate. Basic recruiting... |
ID Camps are for making money. Not recruiting. |
There are current professional players who would disagree with you. |
