Agreed, who cares about girls soccer.

It is the only soccer worth caring about.

GAL was a girls academy league not an acronym a statement. Given the unsavory nature it appears of why these clubs like NVA are chooising their boys over girls and throwing them GA like a bone, I do not like. GAL was suppossed to be the girls league for girls with not influence nor involvement from the boys side. This is not longer true at all these new GA clubs becuase MLSN is the priority period!

Competition is essential and two leagues was good for consumers. Right now GA is simply solidifying itself as the long term destintation. If you have a HS girl it’s hard to block this noise out. Instead of ECNL cult/hat remark please respond with clear evidene that ECNL is a poor choice for HS girls right now, not two years from now.

Because ECNL hats keep saying that ECNL or bust. If you are in ECNL, stay in ECNL. If you are 2012 or younger GA should be on uour top list

That's an interesting comment. I too was attracted to GA (specifically FCV) a few years ago because it was focused on girls. The fact that the league's recent "success" is the result of clubs prioritizing their boys programs over their girls programs risks undermining that original cultural quality.

Congratulations, you named 10 clubs with no age ranges making this so laughably dumb.

You guys still won’t answer the question. How are the girls being sacrificed here?

GA is till putting girls in college and they are a separate entity than mls next.

ECNL clubs out side of the top 20 would go to $#!+ if it wasn’t for that ECNL badge. You guys are despicable.

Cultural critique of a product has zero emotion. its call being a oberserver or a critic. Read a book you might learn how to respond and not just troll for shits and giggles.

I wish it was closer yes, too far south for us. Cracking the lineup was jokes, I know my kid could crack it but its just too far so I wish. Everything else is genuine. GAL was attractive to us for the girls power piece. If I was a LS family I would not be too empowered by what's happened.

-Not VDA dad

Love how we decide games that are played now mean nothing. I forgot only what you think is important matters. I am sure that you think VDA is greatest club in country. Once the Mid Atlantic teams get out of that terrible conference they always come up short.

Because the play style and development sucks....low level soccer. Couple good players carrying the whole team they will find top schools to play for.... the rest not so much.

At VDA SHowcase BSC Played 4 games against VDA

U13 2-2
u14 2-0 BSC
U15 1-0 BSC
U17 2-0 BSC

Even is VDA wins at U16 and U19 still a winning day for BSC. Are we not talking about results?

BSC and VDA played at Bethesda Premier Cup too.

U15 1-1 Tie
U16 VDA 09 won 08 bracket
U17 2-1 VDA
U19 6-0 VDA

It is a silly debate though. BSC and VDA are both very strong clubs.
