Because the play style and development sucks....low level soccer. Couple good players carrying the whole team they will find top schools to play for.... the rest not so much.

You lost me at “the development sucks”.

VDA parents dont understand the word

Agreed, who cares about girls soccer.

It is the only soccer worth caring about.

As an American facts. Why do we even fields a men's team at this point?

Agree we should not.

GAL was a girls academy league not an acronym a statement. Given the unsavory nature it appears of why these clubs like NVA are chooising their boys over girls and throwing them GA like a bone, I do not like. GAL was suppossed to be the girls league for girls with not influence nor involvement from the boys side. This is not longer true at all these new GA clubs becuase MLSN is the priority period!

That's an interesting comment. I too was attracted to GA (specifically FCV) a few years ago because it was focused on girls. The fact that the league's recent "success" is the result of clubs prioritizing their boys programs over their girls programs risks undermining that original cultural quality.

You guys still won’t answer the question. How are the girls being sacrificed here?

GA is till putting girls in college and they are a separate entity than mls next.

ECNL clubs out side of the top 20 would go to $#!+ if it wasn’t for that ECNL badge. You guys are despicable.

GA is not putting girls in college except for the top of the roster. Ecnl gets almost the entire roster.

Love how we decide games that are played now mean nothing. I forgot only what you think is important matters. I am sure that you think VDA is greatest club in country. Once the Mid Atlantic teams get out of that terrible conference they always come up short.

Showcase results are meaningless. Full Stop.

You're right. GA is not putting girls in college nor is ECNL... My oh my, how on earth were girls getting to college before our lord and savior ECNL showed up in the DMV

Why are both Loudoun and NVA on the list?

How much should one care about other birth years. If you’re an Arlington 2011 parent and roll everyone, do you care in the slightest that the VDA and FVU 2010s are better squads than the Arlington 2010s?

Where’s the proof? only the top 20 clubs are lol. You think Pittsburgh riverhounds are putting more than 5 kids in college per team?

Arlington way too high here. The program is rotting from its core. Most of the best players have escaped by the time they get to the oldest age groups - the coach at that level is completely incompetent and corrupted by parental influence. Can’t imagine she lasts much longer.

They have a wonderful array of "she" coaches, rare for an ECNL setup anywhere espcially here, what age/team coach are you upset with?

Anonymous wrote:1. VDA ECNL
2. Bethesda ECNL
2. Arlington ECNL
3. FVU (for now, if they lose ECNL they move down to 8 below MD Utd ECNL)
4. NVA GA
5. SYC GA
6. Loudoun GA
7. McLean GA
8. MD United ECNL
9. Revolution GA
10. TSJ GA

Discuss...

lists like this are pointless because a club could have the #1 team at one age group and the worst team in the very next age group. If you wanted to do something like this, it needs to be age group specific

That was left for you all to squabble about for 3 pages now

Pittsburgh Riverhounds Class of 2024:
Marist
Pittsburgh
Coastal Carolina
Bowling Green
High Point
Maryland

That's six, which is more than five. What you think of the schools or soccer programs is not important. Your original statement was the club isn't putting more than five girls in college.

Coastal Carolina still accredited? good for them

You sound like somebody who just lost their coaching job at FVU. GL!
