Replacing your drugs with other drugs is peak addict behavior.

I love this chain, OP. I too have been drinking too often lately, it's a comfort thing. I need alternatives.

Ginger ale and hot cider have been my main go-to's. Plus tea when I am less lazy. Like a lot of these ideas.

Mango juice + POM juice + dried crushed mint + lemon juice + blueberries.

Chilled blackberry tea with mango vinegar

Dried apple tea spiked with apple cider

Poppi lemon lime + sparking water + cherry juice + a tbs of apple cider vinegar.

Try Trader Joe's jugs of cider with lemon and spices. About the same size as a regular Ocean Spray bottle. Very tasty!

Everyone else’s suggestions are sugar waters and “sugar free” carb water which destroy your teeth and stomach.

I drink sparkling water and it's fine. My dentist said my teeth look great, my stomach is fine.

Still water and tap water are basically the same thing.

Your dentist is lying to you if he or she tells you soda water and citric ACID doesn’t erode your teeth.

And you’re lying to yourself if you think tap water is the same as luxury still water. Tap water is full of chlorine, fluoride, and likely lead, bacterias, hard chemicals, traces of prescription drugs, and PFAS.

a fool and his money are easily parted

Enjoy your nasty ass tap water.

Good root beer. Yum!

A good root beer is so choice. But as I'm older I would like to find a less sweet one. (ie., not Stewarts, etc.). Are they brewing one? Even my local brewery brews one but it is too sweet.

I'll also do an Italian Blood Orange soda in the evening.

I love spindrift in a fancy glass (not my daytime drinking glasses) with lots of ice and topped with slices of limes, oranges and a few raspberries or other fruit.

Whole Foods is carrying some de-alcholized wines that taste like the real deal. I don’t even miss regular wine and I like the taste.

Sounds silly, but I've stopped drinking alcohol due to health reasons and am truly enjoying having an LMNT electrolyte drink at the end of the day. Raspberry and watermelon are my favorite flavors.
