The only proof that he lied is the admission in his autobiography. That in and of itself is not sufficient.

The Afrikaners are never going to take him up on his offer. Most likely he met a lobbyist at Mar a Lago that weekend and that lobbyist just wanted Trump to talk about the land issue the Afrikaners are facing. This is the problem when people have direct access to the president because one of his adviser could have easily told that's a losing issue for him. If anyone know the history of South Africa, Black South Africans are not going to lose sleep over POTUS talking about the cause of the Afrikaners.
