However, “shoot the farmer,” appears to mean: “shoot the farmer.”

Yes really. You should watch the video of the press conference so you can see how the SA president addressed this issue (and the agriculture minister, who is white and from an opposition party). All the while Trump kept mumbling like an idiot “but they are taking the land” with the president repeating no land has been taken, and even the US can seize land for public interest.

Funny that the J6 rioters chanting “hang Mike Pence” were just peaceful tourists singing a happy song. We are even going to pay $5M as taxpayers to the family of the idiot who broke the window of the barricaded door to actually get to Pence. Songs apparently have different value depending on who sings them

These farmers haven't done anything. They are making a living according to the system in place. If the system changes and it is damaging to their livelihood, they have a right to either find a new home or fight back. And I give the same answer no matter the race or sex. No one has to shut up and sit down based on what happened when they were kids.

However, I don't think that they should be the exception to a closed asylum system. Historically, plenty of people got through the asylum process claiming legitimate fear, objectively verifiable or not. Maybe we should audit all prior asylum approvals.
