Nothing. This happened under Biden, so Trump doesn't see it as his problem. It's a golden gem he'll get to harp on for months - maybe years! - about how terrible Biden was.

In answer to OP's question, the Trump administration is actively suppressing publication of updated information about avian influenza, specifically some new information about transmission between household cats and humans. I have a relative who is a veterinarian and she is quite angry about this.

This CDC MMWR on avian influenza was supposed to have been published 2 weeks ago and was not - the first time the MMWR was not published in 60 years. Today, they very briefly posted, then removed the article.

Interesting fearmongering. Eggs have consistently cost between $4-7, everywhere I shop. The free range eggs are more expensive and always have been. But sure, no doubt they’ll cost “$20 a dozen” soon. Idiot.
